Shipping & Delivery
When you place an order we always pre-authorise payment and then check stock holding and product availability. We never actually take payment until we have confirmed that the product(s) ordered are currently available. If there is likely to be an extended lead time then we will always contact you to check that this is acceptable before continuing with your order. At this point you still have the option to cancel.
In practice goods are usually sent within 2-5 working days of the date of your order. We ship via Royal Mail, courier, or using our own vehicles for local delivery.
Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout - our carriage free order level may change from time to time.
Occasionally we may find that we are not able to ship some goods to your location, perhaps due to carriage restrictions or the nature of the goods ordered. Under these circumstances we will always contact you before proceeding with your order. We pre-authorise but do not collect payment until goods are confirmed available.
Similarly we may sometimes find that we are only able to ship particularly large or heavy goods at additional cost. Under these circumstances we will always contact you before proceeding with your order.
