Open and transparent Stock Levels

We hold very extensive stocks of fasteners and fixings including hexagon bolts and sets, socket screws (socket caps, socket countersunk, socket sets PCP plain and KCP knurled, socket set dog point, socket set flat point), nuts, washers, coach bolts, coach screws, woodscrews and self-tapping screws. We have one of the largest stock ranges in East Anglia and the wider area. Our extensive range of fasteners, including metric, imperial, high tensile and stainless steel products, is now available online. If you don’t see what you need, please contact us.

We show our live stock, with products in stock generally available for collection from our trade counter today. We also show additional stock available from our suppliers together with anticipated lead times. These will differ depending on the supplier, and we let you know so that you can make an informed choice. Our supplier stock feeds are updated daily.

We prefer to under-promise and over-deliver on your requirements, therefore our live stock level will generally be an under-estimate. We will often have stock of the same products sourced from an alternative supplier which we haven’t yet brought online. So feel free to ask – that’s what we’re here for.

Does traceability matter to you or your customers?

Traceability is an important part of our service. Where available, we can provide supporting documentation ranging from EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates and manufacturers’ certificates through to Statements of Conformity and manufacturer or brand specifications, depending on the product and its source.

We also maintain traceability when supplying part-box quantities. Our internal batch trace ID is carried through our documentation from order through to invoice, allowing the relevant traceability information and certification to be linked directly to the products supplied.

Where certification or other supporting documentation is available, the documents are identified with the same trace ID, making it easier to retain a clear audit trail for your records and, where required, to provide supporting evidence to your own customers.

If you require particular certification, material documentation or traceability for an order, please ask us when ordering so that we can confirm what documentation is available for the specific product and batch.

We have been trading for more than 50 years, with an established trade counter and warehouse serving manufacturers, engineers, tradespeople and businesses.

Over that time we have built an extensive network of trusted suppliers and manufacturers. Where there is sufficient market depth, we actively maintain multiple sources of supply for the products we sell, helping to provide continuity when availability from an individual supplier changes.

Where necessary, we also import products directly, giving us access to additional sources and allowing us to respond to products that are not readily available through the UK distribution network.

Our aim is simple: to provide reliable access to the products our customers need, backed by technical expertise, experience and supplier relationships.

Why not take advantage of our buying list system to manage your project lists? Lists can be shared with us or with other members of your team. We recognise that often engineers specify and buyers buy; this facility is designed to help keep the two connected.

Price matching

If you would like us to match or beat a competitor’s price, please ask. We can often do so where the comparison is like-for-like in quality, quantity and availability.

Occasionally a competitor may be selling at a loss to clear stock, or we may have sold through stock purchased on a particular supplier deal. If we cannot match a price, we will tell you why rather than simply leave you guessing.
