The Faithfull Essentials Long Handle Bulb Planter has a forged head with foot treads, manufactured from heat-treated (hardened) carbon steel to provide both strength and durability. The polypropylene and powder-coated finish provide improved resistance to rust, scratches, humidity and alkaloids in the soil. The long T-grip handle is manufactured from tubular steel with a hard-wearing polypropylene coating, making it comfortable to use. It enables full control of the blade position to ensure a precise edge is created. It has been designed for the professional gardener. Use for planting larger bulbs by boring a hole into the ground to the desired depth using the barrel of the planter, inserting the bulb and then placing the plug of soil back into the hole. The long-handled bulb planter will save your back as no digging is required and also allows you to penetrate through tough or firm soil using your foot to provide leverage.
