The 98 Series also conforms to DIN EN / IEC 60900. The handle provides a confident, safe, grip thanks to slip-proof soft components, and also features a thumb recess and finger hook at the end of the handle to ensure a good transmission of force when the blade is pulled. Its surgical steel, stainless, vacuum-hardened blade has a sickle shape with guide shoe at the blade point, this ensures there is no damage to the conductor insulation.
