Not only does it taper on both sides, but also the underside is cut away, allowing the operater to gain access into some difficult areas. The Micro-Bevel cut is designed to meet the requirements of the electronic assembly industry. Leads are ‘pinched’, allowing less altitude and a smaller overall surface area.
